Can I link this to my existing booking app (Vagaro, Mindbody, Square Appointments)?+
Yes. We integrate with any calendar tool that can POST a webhook — including Vagaro, Mindbody, Square Appointments, Acuity, Calendly, and Cal.com. When a client books through your existing tool, our system automatically marks the lead booked and stops the follow-up sequence. If you don't have a booking tool yet, CallsToBooking includes one.
What kind of businesses is this for?+
Any appointment-based service business whose owner or staff can't always answer the phone — plumbers under a sink, dentists mid-procedure, estheticians in the middle of a facial, mechanics with a car on the lift. If missing calls costs you money, this is for you.
Will this mess up my existing phone or change my number?+
No. You keep your existing number and phone. We assign you a new number behind the scenes and set up conditional call forwarding — only calls you don't answer get forwarded to us. If you answer the call, nothing changes.
What happens if I answer the phone myself?+
Nothing. Our system only activates when you miss a call. If you pick up, the call goes through to you normally and we never see it. No lead is created, no SMS is sent.
Is this HIPAA-safe for a medical or dental practice?+
Our automatic text only says you missed the call and asks how we can help — we never include any protected health information in the outbound message. Any patient reply is visible only to you in your dashboard. For practices with stricter HIPAA requirements, reach out and we'll walk through your specific compliance needs.
What's an A2P 10DLC registration and do I need to worry about it?+
It's a carrier-required registration that lets you legally send business SMS in the US. We handle the entire registration process for you during onboarding — you just provide your business name and legal name. Most businesses are approved within 24–48 hours.
Is this TCPA compliant?+
Yes. Our model relies on call-initiated consent: because the customer called you first, you're permitted to respond via SMS. Every message includes an opt-out instruction, and STOP replies are honored automatically and permanently for that customer.
How long does setup take?+
About 5 minutes. You pick your industry, enter your business details, we auto-provision a local number in your area code, and you enable call forwarding on your phone with a single tap (*72 on most carriers). We even place a test call so you can confirm it's working.
What if a customer already booked somewhere else by the time I see the lead?+
Our automatic SMS fires within seconds of the missed call — usually before the customer has even put their phone down. In the real world, we typically reach the customer before they dial the next business on their list.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel from the billing portal and you'll retain access through the end of your current billing period.
